John Prot

John Prot

Chief Executive Officer

John Prot has 25 years of experience in business development, operations, and finance. Before joining Stromasys, he held several management positions at Vassilakis Group in Greece and managed the Hertz Greece car leasing team with a fleet portfolio of 15,000. Prior positions in the group include restructuring as CEO of two airport logistics companies of c.1000 staff that were facing operational, commercial, cashflow, or labor distress.

Between 2000 and 2006, John served as investment director at Global Finance, a leading regional private equity institutional investor. He started his career in the US in 1988 as an investment analyst at The Prudential and later at Barings.John is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) andhas a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University.

Marco Wang

Marco Wang

Global Head of Engineering

Marco Wang joined Stromasys in 2009 and has more than 20 years of experience in software development. Before joining Stromasys, he worked asa software manager for Alitypc Hong Kong and Peercall Inc. Taiwan, specializing in consumer electric device design. Between 2000 and 2004, he was a telecom software designer for Meriton Network Canada. Prior to that, he worked for Prosperity Networks in Shenzhen, China as a software developer, where he participated in the development of one of the first generation Internet online stock trading systems in China.

Marco has a Master’s degree from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunication and a Bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics from Shandong University.

Kathryn Carson

Kathryn Carson

Chief Sales Officer, Americas

Kathryn joined Stromasys in August 2018. She spent many years at BBN Technologies, a research subsidiary of Raytheon. Her latest role there was program and product manager in their Quantum Information Processing unit, where she worked with a team of scientists and physicists to advance quantum computing theory and experiments. In that capacity, she was responsible for program budgets and finances, staffing, milestone tracking, customer relationships, and program roadmaps. Kathryn has also worked with an affiliated company in business development, legal, and corporate governance roles.

Kathryn received her Master's in Business Administration from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the State University of New York at Albany.

Tinh Dang

Tinh Dang

Global Head of Finance

Tinh Dang started her career as a statutory auditor. She worked in Singapore and then Vietnam before moving to Switzerland, where she changed her path to accounting and finance. Tinh was appointed as Global Head of Finance after four years after joining Stromasys as an accountant. Her broad experience in international trade and finance, blended with her high-energy working capacity, offers stakeholders the best compromise with reliability and efficiency.

Tinh is an ACCA affiliate and earned her accounting degree from Oxford Brookes University.

Myriam Khan

Myriam Khan

Head of Sales EMEA

Myriam Khan started her career as a Business Strategy and Risk Management consultant at IBM as part of her undergraduate placement programme. Post-graduation, she worked in Finance, where she served as an Equity Specialist at Bloomberg. She then changed her path to Sales, working as a Global Partner Manager at Amazon in London. Myriam moved to Switzerland in 2015, where she joined Stromasys as part of the Channel Management Team and since then has worked across different departments, including Contracts Management, Marketing and Sales.

Myriam is a certified Digital Marketer and has also earned a Business Studies undergraduate degree from Cass Business School in London.

Celia Millet

Celia Millet

Global Head of Human Resources

Celia Millet joined Stromasys in June 2015, bringing her experience in international management of HR. Celia began her career in executive placement with Alec Allan & Associés SA in Geneva before joining the global flavor and fragrance creator Givaudan. At Givaudan, she occupied many different positions of increasing responsibilities culminating in the position of HR Business Partner Coordinator in charge of the production division for the Geneva site. In 2012, Celia joined the mobility unit of ITX, a leading expatriate management company where she managed expatriation in Latin America and where she developed a taste for dealing with worldwide human resources legislation and management.

Celia received her Master’s Degree in Psychology specializing in work and organizational psychology from Aix-en-Provence University in France.

Thomas Netherland

Thomas Netherland

Global Head of Alliances & Channels

Thomas Netherland brings to Stromasys over 30 years’ sales and channel experience working with industry leaders such as IBM, CA Technologies, Ingram Micro, EMC, Cisco, and VMware, as well as smaller startups in the IT space. He joined Stromasys in 2017 to structure, build, and leverage the partner ecosystem.

Thomas began his IT career with IBM in 1987. In 2001 he added channel management to his skill set at Computer Associates (CA Technologies), and from 2012 to 2014, he helped increase Ingram Micro’s VCE annual business working with industry leaders VMware, Cisco, and EMC. Thomas received his Master of Business Administration degree from Southern Methodist University/Cox School of Business in Dallas, Texas, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geophysics from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

Alexandre Souf

Alexandre Souf

Head of Global Field Engineering

Alexandre Souf joined Stromasys in May 2018 as a Senior Field Engineer and now, as Head of Field Engineering, is responsible for global field engineering efforts, including presales, implementation, and support. His career spans 30 years, beginning as a Research Assistant for a public organization, Inria, in France. He gained experience across the information technology industry, holding roles as a developer, system manager, risk analyst, help desk expert, and security expert. Prior to joining Stromasys, he was a Technical Engineer with a multinational company and worked on projects such as the cyclotron command control system and the control bench for the Ariane5 European Launcher project.

Alexandre received a degree in IT Methodologies for Industries at the University of Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris, and he has also received an M.S. in IT Science at the University of Caen (France)

John Gutknecht

John Gutknecht

Chief Marketing Officer

John began his professional career as an IT manager for a privately held manufacturing company in the Chicago suburbs. With facilities in the US, Europe, and Asia, John was responsible for the company's IT network infrastructure and hardware. In this role, he was responsible for the early adoption of internet-based solutions including one of the first commercial websites incorporating EDI and partner account management functionality as well as an interactive online catalog. Through several company acquisitions, John's responsibilities continued to grow and change, and digital and traditional marketing merged.  John leveraged his IT experience for marketing purposes which became his primary role. In that role, he was instrumental in developing solutions for improving the customer experience and unlocking business value with solutions for computer-rendered images, interactive product selector tools, catalog expansion, and integrated digital workflow. John has a B.F.A. in design and technology from Otterbein College and held several professional certifications throughout his career including Novell CNE, Microsoft MCSE, and IBM CSA.
